We pride ourselves on bringing world-class care to the Texas Hill Country, and over the years we have invested in the best possible technology to care for our community. Innovations like Da Vinci Robotics, the latest mammography advancements, MRI, CT are all part of our service offerings because of the generous support of our donors and supporters.

This year’s ask may not seem as exciting as some of these others, but advancements and innovations in mattress technology put this seemingly basic component of providing care in the same category as these other innovations.

Today’s hospital mattresses are light years ahead of what they were just five years ago. These new mattresses help us provide:
• Optimal comfort for our patients that helps foster faster recovery
• More enhanced protection from skin injuries that can occur over night without proper support
• Micro-climate management through advanced moisture wicking technology
• Integrated pumps help with infection prevention
• Enhanced ability of our nursing team to care for patients with fewer external components (pumps) impeding patient bed access.

When people are sick and/or recovering from surgery, great equipment helps us provide the very best of care for them, but it is not what they will remember about their hospital stay. They will remember how we made them feel, how we cared for their emotional needs as well as their physical needs. Providing the best possible comfort helps us care for the whole person.

In the past, we have focused our efforts on equipment that helps diagnose and treat patient illness and disease. Today we are asking you to invest in their comfort and healing.

Each mattress is $3,625. Your contribution, in any amount, will help us provide the BEST in healing and comfort to ALL patients!
